An Example
AKITAM is an easy-to-use geographic data viewing program which was developed for the
U.S. Army in Alaska. It is used in the Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) program
by range control personnel to display and query information about training areas. It uses
thematic maps and orthophotos to display a background on which to display selected themes.
Its a stand alone application and only requires Windows 95 or Windows NT to run.

The interface is simple and presents the user with three clear choices and an information
