Calibre Services, Inc. - CEMML Team
awarded new
ITAM Services contract for 2000 2004
by
The Department of Army

Contract No. DAAD13-00-D-5003
CEMML recently competed for the new Department of the Army ITAM
Services contract and successfully won an award as part of the
CALIBRE Services, Inc. proposal Team. Additional Team partners
include Charis Corporation, Inc.; Tetra Tech, Inc.; R&K Engineering,
Inc.; Gene Stout & Associates, Inc.; Shirnia & Dowell,
LLC, and Environmental Restoration Company (ERC). This contract
award will allow CEMML to continue to provide full technical support
services to installations and other offices under the Army's Integrated
Training Area Management (ITAM) program and related programs (Conservation,
Cultural Resources) for the period 2000-2004.
CEMML will act as a sub-contractor to CALIBRE Services, Inc.,
which is a full service business planning and process firm, headquartered
in Falls Church, VA, that has extensive Army contract experience,
to include development and implementation of the ITAM program's
ATTACC model.
Dr. Bob Shaw, CEMML's Director, will serve as the Team's Deputy
Program Manager for the contract, and advise the Team on all task
execution and workload under the contract.
The ITAM Services 2000 contract will replace the existing Norfolk
District, Army Corps of Engineers contract mechanism as of February
2000. Installations desiring to use the new contract mechanism
for contract support by CEMML should refer to the "ITAM Mission
Support Contract 2000 Task Order Standard Operating Procedures" Manual,
which has been published by the U.S. Army Environmental Center
ITAM Technical Support Team.
Task Order submissions for contract work to be performed by CEMML
should be so identified by the requesting installation when funds
and statements of work are submitted to the Soldier Biological
Chemical Command (SBCCOM) Contracting Office, which is the contract
authority for this contract. The Contract Number is DAAD13-00-D-0053.
Since other firms have been given awards under this same contract
it is critical that installations desiring continuity of contractor
support by CEMML indicate this in their submissions.
The ITAM Services contract only replaces the Norfolk District contract
mechanism. Other contract mechanisms available for CEMML support,
to include the U.S. Forest Service Research Cost-Reimbursable Agreement
and installation Cooperative Agreements, remain in effect. Questions
concerning the ITAM Services Contract or any other contract mechanisms
available may be addressed to the CEMML Directors at (970) 491-2748/6620
or through e-mail at CEMML_Contact@mail.ColoState.EDU.
