LCTA Program Manager Information and Disclaimer

 

Information

These programs were developed by the Construction Engineering Research Laboratories (CERL) in Champaign, Illinois. These programs are public domain and are free of charge. The programs were designed for the 16 bit Windows environment (Microsoft Windows 3.x). These programs should run on Windows 95 and Windows NT.

All files are provided in a self-extracting zip file, THERE IS NO INSTALLATION PROGRAM. Groups and icons will not be created during extraction of the files, you will need to create them manually. Please refer to your Windows documentation for instructions on creating groups, folders, and icons for your operating system.

Installation

Download the file to your computer then follow these procedures:

  1. Place the file in a temporary directory
  2. Execute the file
  3. Enter the drive where the program should be extracted to. Note, the directory structure will be automatically created for you
  4. You must have a working copy of Gupta Quest installed
  5. A path to the Quest program directory (usually c:\gupta) must be in your path statement of the autoexec.bat
  6. You will also need an existing or empty LCTA database containing all required tables
  7. Please refer to the disclaimer below
